Formerly known as Peggy Sue & The Pirates, Rosa Rex and Katy Klaw have now abandoned their nautical friends. Born from a love of Regina Spektor and Lauren Hill, they've crafted their own take on the anti-folk scene - "anti-soul/untraditional folk" if we're gonna get picky. With fans including Scroobius Pip, Kate Nash, The Maccabees and Johnny Flynn, Peggy Sue are most definitely set for big things. Broken Sound welcomed the ladies on board in August 2008 for the release of their debut extended player, The Body Parts EP, and following on from its success comes The First Aid EP in late-oh-eight.
